Our New Logo: A Reflection of Identity and Mission
Before
After
Inspired by our original emblem — initially conceptualized by J.E. Go Silangil, later digitized by Fr. John Chris Gonzales, and further enhanced by Mr. Earl John Sol and Mr. Benzur Lecaros — Coro Josefino’s brand identity weaves together key symbols that reflect who we are and what we stand for. The new logo, created by Mr. John Winmar Angelino, brings a fresh yet faithful reinterpretation of these cherished elements.
At the heart of the design is a "G-clef", representing our passion for music, harmoniously integrated with the initials “C” and “J” to signify our choir’s name. A "cross" at the center embodies our devotion to Christ, while the "lily" evokes the purity of St. Joseph, whose staff traditionally bore the flower.
This thoughtful fusion of symbols reflects our commitment to spiritual enrichment, musical excellence, and timeless aesthetics. Rooted in tradition yet open to innovation, the logo captures the very essence of Coro Josefino.
Rendered in a refined palette of green, yellow, and cream — colors historically linked to St. Joseph — the minimalistic yet elegant design mirrors our dedication to Catholic values. It also affirms our mission to preserve and celebrate the Church's cultural heritage through the liturgical music tradition of the Diocese of Boac in Marinduque.
